We know it’s hard to think about school supply shopping for the next school year, but ordering is now available for the 2023-2024 school year for your 1st-5th grader. We are excited to announce our continued partnership with 1st Day School Supplies! 1st Day School Supplies helps parents and teachers get the exact supplies needed for the school year without having to step inside a store. Also, with each kit ordered, part of the proceeds benefit Coolidge School.  You can make your purchase right now by clicking the link below and supplies will be delivered to your home at least two weeks before the start of school.  The deadline to order is June 30th. 4th Grade Parents – Sign-Up to be a 5th Grade Rep!

It is time to select our 5th Grade Reps for next year. If you are interested in being a 5th-grade rep please review the below responsibilities carefully. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• The 5th Grade Kick-Off (first day of school)
• Designing and ordering the 5th Grade t-shirts and the 5th grade banner for the MPR
• Planning and running fundraisers to support the 5th-grade events
• Managing and serving pizza lunch (every Wednesday), including collecting pizza/ice cream orders and working with the vendors. 5th-grade reps need to be available to step in if there are not enough volunteers and at least 1 or 2 should be present each week
• Planning the holiday Book Buddy party in December (5th and 1st graders)
• Creating the memory book and planning the breakfast
• Coordinating the Spring Lake Day Camp end-of-year trip, booking the transportation, and planning the activities
• Coordinating the Spring Lake YMCA trip lunch 

Some planning is required over the summer months.  Please carefully consider volunteering for this position.  While it is a lot of effort, the rewards are great.  If you have any questions, please reach out to one of our current 5th Grade Reps and I’m sure they will graciously give you honest feedback. 

If you would like to be considered for a 5th Grade Rep for 2023-2024 school year, please fill out the below form by Friday, May 26th.

Dear Coolidge Families, 

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Coolidge ladies!  I hope you felt celebrated and loved by your families today. 

Thank you so much to the Coolidge Golf Committee – Nicole Metzger, Paul Telesca, Victoria Silva and Mark Polizzi.  It was a beautiful day last Monday, the group had a great time and lots of money was raised!

Dear Coolidge Families, 

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend! 

Thank you so much to Cate Abad, Michelle Gibney and Whitney Castellvi for planning such a fun May Friendship Dinner.  We are so grateful for the time, energy and thoughtfulness you put into making it such a wonderful night. Thank you also to everyone who came out that night! 

There are some exciting things happening this week as well! Tomorrow is the Coolidge School Golf outing and we are excited for great weather and are looking forward to a successful event.The Wyckoff PTO Coordinating Council is sponsing an engaging presentation from Jack Berckemeyer on adolescents, focused on children ages 10-15 on Tuesday, May 9th at Eisenhower at 7:30pm. All K-8 parents are invited to attend and you can find additional details below. 

Also be on the lookout this week for an email to vote for the new PTO Board slate.
